Misc and other tips when it gets rainy in Summer (ALL SUMMER)

In the Northern part of France, Summer was (is), awful. Rain evry week (day ??), cold temperatures. As if we were in Estonia or Scotland, but without the "folklore" of a foreign destination. 

So, especially when you don't want to spend time in front of a screen during your days off, you don't have much choice to make your days look like holidays. 

But it isn't true. Because finally, when you're on holidays and it gets rainy, you have 2 good reasons to : 

- Take a nap after lunch, or when you want

- Read tons of books (I read all the books of Kem Nunn, it's all about California, Surf, bikers and the trash side of these usually trendy, glamour concepts). 

- Take a camera and wander around, shooting everything you want. Playing with drops, with lights. I did get a Lomo camera, the FISHEYE 2 with a waterproof box. It makes funny and nice pics. Real ones, not those you can put on your computer :), unless you scan them. 

- Pray to get waves

- Read Surfers' Journal, once,twice and more ...

- Go to the movies (Harry, Po the Panda and other silly things)

- Go surfing, if waves are there, and take your GO Pro camera to be a hero or a Clown, all depends on your smile on the wave. (I haven't solved the drops issue on the lens, but I will ...). 

- Buy lottery tickets to try to become rich and lazy (lazier ...). 

And finally, at the end, you'll notice that even if not well tanned, you'd spent nice holidays.

Take a jet ski to go to Japan ... 

And then take your Kayak to go to the USA :
