On racontait encore au milieu du XIXe siècle qu'un énorme poisson-chat, le namazu, tapi au fond des océans, excédé par la bêtise des hommes, remuait le dos au fond de la mer, pour secouer la terre, la faire trembler. Ce poisson-chat était à l'origine de ces raz de marée terribles. Il était redoutable puisqu'il détruisait beaucoup, mais il devait être vénéré aussi parce qu'il apprenait aux hommes à revenir à l'essentiel, à réparer le monde pour ses injustices accumulées, à imaginer un nouveau départ. Il aidait les hommes à faire yonaoshi, "corriger le monde" pour revenir à plus de vertu.

What happens now in Japan gives us a small idea of what "back to stone age" really means. The 3rd economy in the world can't do anything but suffer from the power of such a catastrophic event.
What happens in the Arabic peninsula points out the problems of the past errors.
By chance I watched several interesting documentaries :
Restrepo : embedded in a company in Afghanistan you live with the soldiers. You then realize that real pacifist can only be those who faced war and its long line of drama.
La cabale : how the us government of G Bush lied to the entire world to make war in Irak. Astonishing !
L'infiltré : French movie about how the counter terrorism department managed to have someone inside Abou Nidal terrorist group.

How on earth can someone be confident in our politic leaders after watching all that, analyzing the speeches about the nuclear situation and the stakes of such an energy ?

I feel like I am upset about the world we live in and upset about those promising that they'll change everything. I think I am becoming an anarchist somehow.

Ps : give all my support to the French citizens in Japan, and the Japanese of course.
